Résumé: The young child who does not speak needs intervention taking into account his developmental characteristics and environment. This explains the relevance of an intervention based on the optimal use of life routines of the child and on parent-child interaction to stimulate language development. This article focuses on intervention programs deemed as effective that rely on the responsivity and responsiveness of the parent towards his child in order to get him to increase expression of communicative intentions, words and combinations of words.
