Résumé: In Québec, Canada, the new science and technology program for the secondary sector (high school) required adjustments to be made in teachers' professional practice. The implementation of a community of practice has given teachers the opportunity to acquire an explanatory tool which would create links between common concepts that are found in the fields of science, technology and the environment.
